ABOUT COUSIN JOSHUA
Clarity. Compassion. Creativity
Having earnestly studied various paths across different cultural lineages, I believe that faith and community are intimately connected. My work is grounded in working with my ancestors and tutelary spirits to help individuals find or build a vibrant and lasting spiritual practice that honors their own history, purpose, and heart. Typically, I start with an in-person or video-conference reading to assess where a client is currently, how they got there, and where they might like to go. I offer dream interpretation, card readings, and bone readings to help folx navigate the circumstances of their lives. Over the course of the reading, I may receive insights on particular steps to take to help someone address any challenges they face and honor any successes they have had.

Having studied and worked in various traditions, I can adapt and work with folx needs and find spiritual practices that work for them. After being raised Southern Baptist, learning a bit of Christian folk magic, and getting my first tarot deck when I was twelve years-old, I've since trained in Core Shamanism with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, worked with and undergone initiation with one of Atlanta's most enduring traditional covens over the course of 13+ years, studied southern conjure and hoodoo with Catherine Yronwode and completed her training course and her three-week in-person apprenticeship, and completed a two-year initiation process in the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition. I am an ordained minister and have joyously officiated weddings in Georgia, North Carolina, and New Hampshire.
<- In-person readings or foot washes may be done in the "Moonflower Hut" for long-term clients. I lovingly collaborate with mother nature to build it every year, growing it from seeds harvested the year prior.
